Gal Gadot might be a global superhero, but it turns out she’s been missing out on a major American rite of passage: the late-night Taco Bell run.
The Wonder Woman star, , sat down with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show for a segment that has quickly gone viral across X and TikTok. The challenge? Trying classic foods for the very first time.
While Gadot sampled everything from Ho-Hos to holiday eggnog, it was her first-ever bite of a Taco Bell taco that truly broke the internet.
After just one mouthful, the actress broke into a literal “happy dance,” clearly stunned by the fast-food staple. “This is the best so far,” she exclaimed between bites, looking genuinely impressed.
“Flavorful. It’s salty. Different textures,” Gadot noted as she went back in for more. “It’s really good—I’m going to have another bite!”
Fans immediately flooded social media to celebrate the moment, with one user tweeting, “Gal Gadot enjoying Taco Bell is the most relatable thing I’ve seen all year.” Another joked, “Is there anything more pure than Wonder Woman discovering the Joy of a crunchy taco?”
However, the “House of Girls” matriarch wasn’t quite as heroic when it came to other American traditions. When presented with a glass of eggnog, the texture alone was enough to make her pause.
“It’s very thick,” she laughed, trying to be polite. “I don’t want to hurt the [eggnog] peoples’ feelings… It’s not great.”
The tables turned when it was Fallon’s turn to try an Israeli delicacy: gefilte fish. The host was visibly shaken by the jarred, poached fish “balls” floating in liquid.
“Honestly, seriously Gal, I swear this looks like floating balls. And it’s like a thick gravy juice!” Fallon said apprehensively.
As Fallon stalled, Gadot finally lost her patience and channeled her inner warrior. “Just shove it in already! Don’t think about it too much,” she jokingly commanded.
To his surprise, Fallon actually enjoyed the dish, admitting, “Not bad, I like it.”
Gadot’s appearance comes as she ramps up promotion for the highly anticipated Wonder Woman . After several delays due to the global landscape, the sequel is officially set to bring some holiday cheer to theaters on Christmas Day.
If the movie is half as exciting as Gal’s reaction to a taco, fans are in for a serious treat this December.
