Just when you thought the fairest of them all had finished her reign, Gal Gadot is back to claim her crown.
The Wonder Woman alum, , is haunting our screens once again in an exclusive deleted scene from Disney’s live-action Snow White. The clip, which has fans on X and TikTok losing it over Gadot’s “delightful and delicious” villainy, offers a chilling peek into the Queen’s rise to power.
In the newly released footage, titled “Anguish and Opportunity,” we see a younger Snow White and her father, the King, mourning the loss of Snow’s mother. But while the kingdom grieves, Gadot’s character—before she even officially becomes Queen—is already plotting.
“But where most saw anguish, one saw opportunity,” the narrator teases as Gadot approaches the legendary Magic Mirror.
Standing in front of the glass, Gadot delivers those iconic words with a spine-tingling twist: “Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?”
The viral clip highlights exactly what Gadot meant when she told PEOPLE at the D Expo that she wanted to give the character real depth. “I wanted to make sure that we keep her delightful and delicious, and we understand what makes her tick,” she shared at the time.
For Gadot, the role wasn’t just about being a “flat” villain. She leaned into the complexity of a woman terrified of losing her relevance, describing the dynamic with Rachel Zegler’s Snow White as a “mother-daughter relationship in a weird way.”
Fans are also obsessed with the physical transformation Gadot underwent for the role, including a vocal shift she worked hard to perfect. “I enjoyed it, and I changed my voice and I did all these different things,” she told Vogue Hong Kong. “And it was just super fun.”
If you can’t get enough of the drama between the Queen and the Princess, there is plenty more where that came from. The at-home release of the Marc Webb-directed film includes even more deleted gems like “Danger in the Woods” and “Hunt for Snow White,” plus a blooper reel that shows the stars aren’t nearly as serious as their characters.
The film, which features original songs from the duo behind The Greatest Showman, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, is set to be a digital must-watch this spring.
Disney’s Snow White becomes available on digital platforms May .
