Bennifer fans, take a deep breath!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck just proved that divorce doesn’t have to mean the end of a professional powerhouse partnership. The former couple, who finalized their divorce this past February, sent social media into a total tailspin on Monday, Oct. , when they reunited on the red carpet for the New York City premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman.

The sighting immediately went viral on X and TikTok, as fans scrambled to analyze every smile and shared glance between the two icons.

Lopez, , looked every bit the “old-time Hollywood movie star” she portrays in the film, stunning photographers in a custom Harris Reed structural gown. With her hair swept back and a pair of dainty earrings, she let the intricate design of the dress take center stage.

Affleck, meanwhile, kept it classic in a sharp blue suit. While the two have been living separate lives since their April separation, they looked like the best of friends on the carpet, laughing and chatting before heading into the screening.

The reunion wasn’t just for show; it was a celebration of a project they built together. Affleck’s production company, Artists Equity, produced the musical drama, and he wasn’t shy about singing his ex-wife’s praises to Extra.

“She worked enormously hard,” Affleck gushed, noting that he is “as proud of this movie as any that I’ve ever been involved with.”

He continued to rave about J.Lo’s triple-threat talents, saying, “You get to see, like, all of her many gifts… She really does it all in this movie.”

Lopez was just as gracious. Taking the stage before the screening, she made sure to give Ben his flowers in front of the star-studded crowd.

“Thank you, Ben. This movie wouldn’t have been made without Ben and without Artists Equity,” she told the audience. She recalled being “floored” when she first read the script, realizing it was the role of a lifetime where she could sing, dance, and act all at once.

Despite the smiles on the carpet, Lopez hasn’t tucked away the reality of the past year. In a recent appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, she admitted that filming the movie was a bittersweet experience.

“It was, like, the best and the worst of times,” she shared, explaining that while she was “so happy” on set, things “back home” were difficult. However, she views the journey as a blessing in disguise.

“Honestly, I have to say, it was the best thing that ever happened to me because it changed me,” she admitted. “I’m a different person now than I was last year.”

Based on the novel and the Broadway smash, Kiss of the Spider Woman officially hits theaters on Wednesday, Oct. .
