Gal Gadot might be famous for playing an Amazonian warrior, but her favorite role is one that doesn’t require a golden lasso.
The Wonder Woman star, , and her husband Jaron Varsano have officially built a “house of girls,” welcoming four daughters since tying the knot in . While she’s conquered the box office, Gadot admits that nothing makes her feel more powerful than motherhood.
“When you deliver, you feel like you’re a god,” she previously told news.com.au. “The best thing is to become a mother and to give life.”
The world got a front-row seat to that motherly love in March , when Gadot received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Looking at her girls in the audience, she grew emotional: “Being your Ima is my greatest, greatest privilege… I hope that you’re proud.”
Here is everything to know about the four “wonders” in Gal’s life.
Alma Varsano,
The girl who started it all, Alma, arrived a few weeks early on Nov. , . Gadot joked on Instagram that “Alma decided she had enough” and made her debut ahead of schedule.
Now a teenager, Alma was the original inspiration for Gadot’s portrayal of Diana Prince. The actress shared that hearing a young Alma call princesses “weak” made her realize how important it was for girls to have a strong, female superhero to look up to.
Maya Varsano,
Born on March , , Maya is a true Hollywood veteran already! Gadot famously filmed Justice League reshoots while five months pregnant with Maya, using a green screen over her baby bump.
“It was funny as hell – Wonder Woman with a bump,” Gadot told Rolling Stone. Maya later made a cameo in Wonder Woman alongside big sis Alma, a “souvenir” Gadot says the family will cherish forever.
Daniella Varsano,
In June , the family became a party of five with the arrival of Daniella. Gadot kept it real with her fans, sharing a family selfie and admitting she was “tired” but “grateful.”
Gadot has been candid about the “vicious cycle” of being a working mom, telling Flaunt that life with three (and now four!) kids is “messy and chaotic in the best way possible.” Her secret to survival? “I’m being the best mother I can be,” she noted, ditching the pressure of perfection.
Ori Varsano,
The newest addition to the crew, baby Ori, arrived in February . Her birth was a total surprise to fans, as Gadot had kept the pregnancy under wraps.
However, the “light” at the end of the tunnel came after a terrifying health scare. Gadot recently revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show that doctors discovered three blood clots in her brain when she was eight months pregnant with Ori.
After an emergency C-section and a harrowing recovery, Gadot is soaking up every moment with her youngest, recently sharing viral snaps of Ori’s first birthday “cake smash.”
From red carpets to messy high chairs, it’s clear this “house of girls” is full of love.
