Gal Gadot is taking a moment to breathe, reflect, and reset.
The Wonder Woman star, , is ushering in Rosh Hashanah with a deeply personal message for her followers. As the Jewish New Year began on Monday, the actress took to Instagram to share a series of intimate, black-and-white photos that captured a quieter side of the global superstar.
In the images, Gadot is seen dressed down in an oversized sweater with her hair effortlessly pulled back, looking relaxed and pensive while lounging at home. The raw, stripped-back aesthetic immediately struck a chord with fans, garnering millions of likes and a flood of supportive comments.
“This is me, taking a moment thinking about the last year. This is me, counting all its blessings,” Gadot captioned the post. “This is me, overcoming all its challenges.”
The actress didn’t stop there, leaning into the spirit of the holiday by emphasizing growth and gratitude.
“This is me, being thankful for all its lessons. This is me, ready for a new year,” she continued, before offering a sweet shout-out to her global community: “Happy RoshHashana my friends! May this year bring us nothing but joy .”
It’s been a whirlwind year for Gadot, both on and off the screen. Just this past June, the actress celebrated a major personal milestone: the birth of her third daughter, Daniella.
At the time, she shared a glowing family photo with her husband, Jaron Varsano, and their older daughters, Alma, , and Maya, . “I couldn’t be more grateful and happy (and tired ),” she joked at the time, proving that even superheroes deal with those newborn sleepless nights.
But the “joy” Gadot is looking forward to includes some serious professional fireworks, too. The actress is gearing up for the release of Red Notice, the high-octane heist film that Seven Bucks Productions’ President Hiram Garcia recently dubbed “the biggest movie Netflix has ever done.”
In the film, which hits the streamer on Nov. , Gadot trades her Lasso of Truth for a life of crime. She stars as a world-renowned master art thief, playing a high-stakes “game of wits” against an FBI agent played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and a rival criminal played by Ryan Reynolds.
Gadot recently teased the project on social media, playfully challenging her A-list co-stars. “@therock, @vancityreynolds, see if you can keep up!” she wrote alongside the trailer.
Between navigating life as a mother of three and solidifying her status as Hollywood’s most sought-after leading lady, it’s no wonder Gadot is taking a second to count those blessings. If her latest post is any indication, she’s entering the new year with her head held high and her heart full.
