Gal Gadot might be playing the “fairest of them all” in Disney’s new live-action Snow White, but it turns out she’s also the smartest when it comes to Disney lore!
The Wonder Woman actress is going viral after sitting down with ScreenRant for a high-stakes round of Disney villain trivia. While her character, the Evil Queen, is busy trying to take down Snow White (played by West Side Story breakout Rachel Zegler), Gadot proved in real life that her heart belongs to the classics.
Fans on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) are obsessed with how quickly Gadot nailed the answers. In fact, the actress exhibited almost “superhero speed” when guessing some of the most famous antagonists in cinematic history.
From the prideful Scar in The Lion King to the sea witch Ursula in The Little Mermaid, Gadot barely broke a sweat. She even successfully identified the dalmatian-obsessed Cruella de Vil and Aladdin’s power-hungry Jafar, much to the delight of fans watching the clip.
However, even a queen has her limits! Gadot was stumped by just one legendary villain: Hades from Hercules.
Despite hints about his fiery blue hair and short temper, the actress couldn’t quite place the Lord of the Underworld. Fans joked online that if her DC films had ever adapted a Wonder Woman vs. Hades storyline, she might have been better prepared!
When asked about her favorite baddie, Gadot didn’t hesitate to choose her own wicked character.
“Look. I love the Evil Queen,” she gushed during the interview. “I got to portray her, and I had so much fun playing this character. She’s so delicious, and it was just a lot of fun.”
She even treated fans to a bit of “in-character” magic, dropping into her regal villain voice to recite the iconic line: “Magic mirror on the wall…”
The viral moment is a breath of fresh air for Disney fans, who have praised Gadot for her genuine appreciation of the studio’s history. Snow White, which is now playing in theaters, is a reimagining of the masterpiece that started it all.
